My lace has been shuttle-fied!

Yes, ladies and gents, I am the proud owner of two new Tatted Shuttles from Chris Hinton at The Shuttle Shop! I sent Chris some pieces to play with a couple of weeks ago, and I am thrilled with the way they turned out!

The small shuttle is 2-1/8" by 1-1/8". The thread is DMC 70/80... I'm not sure which. The larger one is 3" by 1-3/4". The thread is size 40 HDT from Krystledawne. I'll be testing them soon, and I'll let you know how much thread they hold, etc. I'm so excited!

Update: I just wound an incredible 21 yards of size 20 Lizbeth on to the small shuttle!

  9. Those are AWESOME! You know what else is cool about them? Seems like every time someone shows an interest in what I am doing, i.e. tatting, I am on the very first ring of a motif. It would be great to just lift up my shuttle and say, "THAT'S what tatting looks like."
