I finally got my printer working again! I had a moment of brilliance this morning, and I googled the correct search phrase... don't ask me what it was, because I have no clue. I stumbled upon the solution... I needed to update my printer drivers!

Last night I had another moment of brilliance concerning Dave's iPad. He kept asking me questions for which I had no answers. I finally went to Amazon and ordered The Missing Manual... so much easier than wild guesses that don't work.

At last, I'll have some technology-question-free time! First order of business tonight will be to print off Jane's T.I.A.S. directions. I feel so far behind. I hope my little pea-brain can handle it! ; )

  1. Ah, I do commiserate! I can spend HOURS monkeying with my computer and all the attendant components, when my router decides to go on sabbatical. Hair-pulling hours.
    Glad you got it fixed!
    Fox : )

  2. HOW can items meant to ‘simplify’ and be ‘user-friendly’ be so mystifying? My new HP printer is great, but complex. Push TWICE to turn it on? I don’t understand ~ lOL why 2 x’s?
I’m glad you solved your puzzle. I write down my ‘solutions’ on scraps of paper and then loose the scraps.
The TIAS works up so fast, that you’ll be caught up in no time at all.

Pippa is vying for attention with computer; doing all sorts of Bengal antics which indicate, “look at me, play with me...I’m HERE! and here, and here. LOL

  3. It's comforting to know that those of you who seem to have mastered computers and blogs also have exasperating problems. At my age I am tired of all these complexities, but unfortunately I"m addicted to the internet, which I'm still without on my PC. (My computer expert neighbor is 'on call' to come over.) It's like being "Alice" in a compelling but scary 'Wonderland".

Belated "Happy Birthday" wishes to your Mom! I know she's very active and an expert at needlework herself! It's wonderful that you share these interests. My birthday and our anniversary are also in January. You may recall the red dresses and white fur muffs I mentioned on my blog awhile ago.

Just like you, I love getting feedback!
