One gorgeous hanky!

I think Michelle's Aunt Rose-E would be pleased. I know I am!

Yes, I toyed with the idea of using a pink or blue edging, but I love the way the white edging pulls out the white flowers in the hanky. It's much more noticeable in person than in the photo.

Just don't look too closely... as I was pressing the hanky, I spied a few missed joins. Shhh! If I'm lucky, that blind man on the galloping horse will never notice! ; )

  2. The white lace looks GORGEOUS, and the handkerchief is now elevated to a very special 'heirloom' status! It's just beautiful! Tatting definitely enhances these flowered hankies!

And I still say that you're one of the fastest tatters on the planet!

  6. I'm SURE she would LOVE it. She loved pretty things and would pronounce them "bee-you-tee-ful".

And this, is truly "bee-you-tee-ful". Thank you, I'm thrilled it has found this new life. I'd love a makeover like that when I'm 50!
