and now I have to decide which layout I prefer.

Hhhmmmm . . . I think I like the bottom layout better if I'm understanding correctly. Opposites make for some balance. I love the pinks!

I like the bottom set...I agree with Cindy that it appears more balanced. Beautiful thread combinations!
Ok...now I changed my mind, balanced seems to be relative to wether you focus on the center or the predominant color!

I agree with you, I like the top set, to me the contrast of light and dark makes it seem a better contrast where the bottom makes the top set look heavy. Does that make sense?
Regardless they are beautiful. I'm looking forward to seeing the next installment
