Doodad Double Dare #14!

Crazy Mom finished tatting with her doodads! Wait 'til you see what she's made with some of Karey's HDT and some adorable charms!

Last night I finished the first round of Jon's Tat-Along for the second time, this time in Lizbeth Denim Blue Lt. #650. That's right... the second time. I started it in size 40 Berry Burst, but I can't find where I put it. I know it's attached to two shuttles, so it can't have gone far!

  1. I've finished up enough knitting that I'm ready to start tatting my doodads. What's great about waiting so long is that I actually have an idea of what I want to do with them - now I just have to try it and see if it will work.

Will you post a summary of all the links/pics at the end of the month? Would love to see all the things done with these at one time/one place.

Thanks again for the doodads and the fun challenge.

  2. well, now you know you will have 2 Lace Mats once you locate the other center.
That blue is pretty. I have picked out a varigated colorway with coordinating solid for mine. Should finally be able to start tomorrow after finishing the test tat I am doing.

  5. It's amazing how quickly everyone is finishing their doo-dad challenge. This was such a great idea! It's been fun to see so much creativity! I love Crazy Mom's earrings!

I agree that you eventually will have two doilies! I did get a chuckle out of the 'lost' doily and shuttles! I'm sure they will show up when you least expect it!

  7. Diane how can you lose two shuttles, I am sure you will find it somewhere totally silly like the fridge.
Your second one looks lovely and beautiful colour,
Your doodad challenge never creases to make me wonder how brilliant some of the designs that have been tatted with them

  8. Aaahhhh, but you have hundreds of shuttles! The first one could be anywhere :) I like how your first round turned out - it looks so nice and even. Mine is too squished, but I trudge on . . .
