Pretty but impractical...

...at least the way it is right now!

I got a little carried away with beads, and the "arms" of the snowflake are a little heavy. Not to worry, though...

for now, the branches are holding the snowflake in place, and when I manage to get my sewing room cleaned up, I know I have some bangles that are just the right size to hold this little beauty. The real question is, am I willing to give up tatting time to organize my stuff? ;-)

  4. I seem to like to look of "getting carried away" with beads very much, LOL! Your latest snowflake is very, very pretty!

To bangle or not to bangle (hee, hee) is not really the question, because it will look beautiful either way!

    Well done.

  6. Just a thought - I have made many Xmas decorations in bobbin lace over the years some of which have needed stiffening .... and here in Australia we lace makers dilute 1 part PVA glue (White wood glue) to 6parts water... pin lace motif to polystyrene.... gently brush mixture onto lace ("dabbing" motion).... dab off excess with soft rag and leave to dry - just gives a little stiffness that might help with a motif that has lots of beads on.( All this of course only if you wanted an alternative to popping it in a bangle/bracelet) :D
