Another frigid day

Because of the frigid weather, there's no school again today. Although the house is nice and warm, I can feel the cold in my head, and I'm really glad that I don't have to go out in this bitter cold!

My Jan Stawasz doily is not 8" in diameter after round 4. I'm amazed at how quickly this is growing!

I finished this blue scarf today. I think it may be my favorite!

My scarf stash is growing! If I keep this up, I may have to open a shop! ;-)

  2. Oh I like those speckles in the blue scarf, we got the super cold temperatures, and not bad weather but 7 degrees and so we have 2 hour delay for school :) thanks for mentioning the measurement mine is at 6 inches at size 40 thread

  3. Well, there's a thing. You're favourite scarf is BLUE. Why isn't that a surprise? Love the doily and I'm now sort of tempted to do a doily.

  4. It's been brutally cold here too but it has let up a bit today thankfully. Your tatting always inspires me and the knitted scarfs look great. Stay warm.

  5. The blue scarf is lovely but so is the one on the bottom of the stash stack. When I woke up to drive my daughter to work this morning it was 14 degrees . . . and living in the city itself, I am usually a few degrees warmer than the suburbs. That is just too cold for the deep south and this wannabe southern girl. Brrr! Guess I will go knit myself something warm.

  7. Yes, open a shop! Looking forward to TT in Feb. Hope it is above zero degrees and NOT a winter advisory kind of day.
