Fixed

I didn't tat much today, but I did manage to fix yesterday's mistake. That makes me very happy!

I also finished the brown scarf that's been on the loom for over a week. I like the way it turned out, but I can't say that I enjoy weaving with super bulky yarn. It was an experiment, and now I know how  the super bulky looks when woven.

So, how did I spend my day? Catching up... grocery shopping, reorganizing kitchen cabinets, laundry... all the little mundane things that must be done. It's funny, though... I found it very relaxing!

  2. I guess bulky yarn weaves up quickly?

  3. Diane, that pattern looks a lot like one that my great grandmother used on a towel that was passed down to me. Beautiful work. Good job!

  4. The doily is lovely - I think I really like this round. I would love to tat something this large and lovely some day.

I am curious about your loom (you may have shown it but I missed it). I am also curious about how you learned to dress it. I have several looms here ranging from very small to very large. I would love to learn to weave on one or more of them.

  5. Oh Diane do a double check on the places where it connects to little rings I think it is not suppose to skip every other one, you are to not skip under the little tree shape but check others pictures. Hope fully you get what I am saying.

  6. Glad you sorted it out, looking good
Nice scarf I should think thick yarn was not as easy to weave as a thinner one
