Success!

Marking the dips with thread worked! I managed to correctly tat the first time through, and I'm very happy about that!

I took my 112" scarf to school today to get opinions about the length. We have three new teachers in our building this year, and I call them my scarf girls as they each wear scarves almost every day. They each tried the scarf on and showed me ways to wear it, so I do feel confident about making long scarves now. In fact, I started another one right after school!

  1. I will remember to mark this round when I get to it :) I had had a lesson in scarf knots too, I didn't know there were so many different ways

Longer scarves are nice especially when it's colder(more to wrap around and protect)! :)

  5. I hope you'll bring that masterpiece doily to Tollway Tatters on Saturday! It would be amazing to see it in person.

  6. Kind of curious how long it took you to weave that long scarf!
No doubt faster than knitting! Scarves are a great accessory and I often wear them.

    1. I'm not really sure, Kathy. It was on the loom for 11 or 12 days, and I sat down whenever I had a few free minutes. When I retire, I'll try to keep better track of my time... no, I won't. I know me. If I keep track of the time, my pleasure will diminish, and I want to have fun!
