Grandma, I like it!

Thank you, Sophia! I like it too!

This is my first time to finish a Spinning Wheel glass mat in two colors. I wasn't sure I would like it. I'm not fond of the way it looks in the picture, but in person it's stunning!

This one is in size 20 Lizbeth Leaf Green Lt and Wedgewood Dk. I really like the two colors together!

  1. I love these colors together too! Such visual interest - a whole different look.

  2. Do I 'feel' a reverse-color Spinning Wheel glass mat coming next? I'd be interested to see what the two colors would look like with the green in the 'center' and the blue as the 'outline.' Both ways would probably be lovely. I've done them with 1 variegated color and 1 coordinating color, sometimes with the variegated as the 'outline,' sometimes with the solid color. This pattern looks good no matter what colors are used. Your mat is very pretty.

    1. How did you guess? I've already finished the first spoke of the reversed colors. I hope I have enough of the Wedgewood Dk to finish it. It looks like I'll be cutting it close.

  3. It looked stunning in the little image on my bloglist ! The spinning spokes show up much more clearly with this 2-colour version.

  9. I think 2 colors makes the 'spin' more obvious in the design. I like it.
