Nearly done

At school, that is... I only have two shelves left to inventory. I know I could have stayed late today and finished up, but I'm enjoying taking my time. After all, it is the last time!

I did manage to spend some time on my Spinning Wheel glass mat today. I think I will easily finish this one by Friday!

    1. Yup, after 31 years of teaching. I stayed home for 11 years before taking a teaching job, and I'm glad I did!

  2. I've tatted that mat a few times in the past. I still want to try doubling it's size though.

    1. I've thought about doubling it as well. I wonder how that would work?

    1. Yes, and I'm not really a fan of pink. It is growing on me!

  7. I was feeling a bit 'sad' knowing how you must be feeling about doing things for the 'last' time at school; however, you mention that you signed up for substitute teaching, which very much perked me up. A much easier transition!! You will have the best of both worlds!

I've had trouble 'keeping up' with you while you worked full time, so I know you're going to be 'off the charts' in activities pretty soon! You're on the 'launch pad'!!!

    1. I've had a few teary-eyed moments, but I'm pretty sure I will love retirement! I might even wave to the kids on the school bus as it goes by every morning! ;-)

    1. I'm sure I will! Maybe I'll even get a passport so I can visit friends abroad. It only takes money, right?
