This one seemed to take forever! I think a big part of that feeling comes from the fact that I love watching the color changes in HDT. Obviously, there's no color change here. This is Lizbeth size 20, color #693 from Handy Hands. I'm pleased with the final doily, but the next one will be in HDT! Which color? It'll be a surprise!
This is really pretty in brown! Very organic looking!
ReplyDeleteYou are on a roll Diane! I like you!
ReplyDeleteWow, beautifully done!
ReplyDeleteDiane, You inspired me to start this pattern when you posted your first one, I'm still working on mine but your on a roll. Keep up the beautiful work, your doing great!
ReplyDeleteThis is pretty, but I agree about the HDT. It makes it so much more interesting, both to tat and to admire!
ReplyDeleteBoring!!! sorry!, but I agree HDT has you hooked, it makes everything you tat come to life and you can't wait to get to the next colour change.
ReplyDeleteIt's also wonderful to see the how the colours look next to each other.
Wow, this is your 5th piece!?! You are amazing. Every piece has its own charm, whether HDT or solid colour.
ReplyDeleteI can see why it seemed to take forever, Diane. It is very dense with a lot of rings and not much negative space and as such takes a lot more tatting time! Having said that, it is a really lovely design, well worth doing in HDT!
ReplyDeleteYou are tatting up a storm of these Spinning Wheels. Very interesting to see how the different colours makes them look differently too.
ReplyDeleteGosh, Diane, you must have the pattern memorized by now! LOL!
