Finding time to tat
...has been unbelievably difficult this summer! I've been distracted by classes, books, and believe it or not, I've even allowed myself to spend time with friends! This morning, I was determined to finish something, and here it is! This is Jon Yusoff's latest pattern, Magic Moment. I tatted it with Lizbeth Violet/Pink Med. #634, size 20. I LOVE this pattern! Thank you for sharing it, Jon!
Now, I've decided to pay it forward. When Jon introduced this pattern, she held an unannounced drawing, and I am the winner! I would like to pass my first rendition of this pattern on to someone else. On Monday, July 20, I will draw a name from those who leave a comment on this post. Why Monday? Because I know I won't remember to go to the post office on Friday or Saturday! So, please leave a comment... you may be the winner! Good luck!
Oooo, what a perfect color -- it's like a deep sunset snowflake. We get these sunsets in the winter that turn the clouds that same lavender-pink. That's certainly another pattern to try!
ReplyDeleteImpromptu giveaways are such fun! I would love this tatted magic from you!
ReplyDeleteAh Diane, celebrate that you have the ability to be busily involved in so many aspects of life!
ReplyDeleteThe color is lovely. Sunsets. A lot of times I see sunset colors here; that if one painted them, someone would say, "Oh the sky is never that color!" (I had that happen with some of my seascapes. But those colors do happen in nature.
I've been listening to Audio Books, but find that I enjoy holding the book and reading for myself. The reader's in the audio books distract me from the story line. There is NOTHING like reading a book and escaping into the era. I tat 4 - 6 hours a day, so a break with a real book is a treat. What can I say? I'm a book person!
Happy Tatting ~ when you get the time!
This is so pretty. And your stitches look perfect! : )
ReplyDeleteYour rendition of Jon's pattern is lovely. That is so sweet of you to pay it forward! :)
ReplyDeleteOh, pick me, pick me....I love the color and I love her patterns. I printed the pattern out last week and have not started it, yet! I just finished her Quantinique and plan on doing it again.
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely and I truly like the colors. I know you are truly busy but you always have to take a little time for things you really love. Hugs, Linda
