Wowie kazowie!

The scan just doesn't do this justice! I never would have thought of putting these colors together, but Krystle did, and I love it! Too bad this one's not for me. Maybe Krystle will dye some more (hint, hint).

  1. Wow! I think those colors are fantastic! I do believe that's my favorite of your 4,329 Spinning Wheels yet.

  2. That looks very Autumny. I don't think that's a word, but it works for this color palette!

  3. I was actually the first one to get my hands on that particular thread. I agree that the picture does not do the finished piece justice. The orange in the thread makes the whole piece just sparkle. It's like some sunsets I've seen over the Great Salt Lake with the colors just made deeper and richer. I, too, hope she dyes some more in this combination of colors.

  5. Wowza! Those colors are gorgeous. I like the deep, saturated colors & these work so well together! The tatting is wonderful, too!

  6. Wowie kazowie huh? Diane, you really need to get out more! I love the colors and this term does say it quite well. It reminds me of fall, my favorite time of year! Lovely....hugs, Linda

  7. Lol, I wasn't sure about this color when I first dyed it...I thought the orange might be too bright. It has turned out real well though... but I can't get it to scan right either.

  8. Its great to finish a piece of tatting that looks so great, such an achievement. I do like this pattern, but can't get hold of the book.
