A cap for Ella

My grandchildren love hats! I few years ago I purchased visor beanies for each of them. I didn't mind the price I paid for them, but I wanted to be able to make them myself. So, I've been searching for the perfect pattern, and I've finally found it!

This is The Original Crazy Easy Textured Newsboy Cap from Ele Shnier at Nutella Dreams Late Night Crafts (http://www.etsy.com/shop/thnkdfrent). Ele's directions are very clear, and she includes directions for infant through adult. I've already started my second cap. Who knows... maybe Grandma will even wear one!

  1. Okay, now you're really HOOKED!
    Cute!

Seriously, these things are so addictive. And for Ellie, you will be able to tat pretty girly motifs and maybe edges - so much fun and the girls love it. Lucky you!

  5. Very cute. I like the color. Is it still cold where you are or is this for the cold weather coming up?

  6. My Goodness! It is wonderful! (Funny, at first glance, I thought it was a large shell.) Thank you for the connection to the Esty shop -- that gal is very creative!

  7. Now that's a cute little hat! Little kids in hats always make me smile. If you're looking for more, Ravelry has a lot of free hat patterns for kids, too.
