Down and out...

Yes, my Internet is still down, with no hope for restoration until Monday, So, being the technology lovers we are, Mom, Joanne, and I are sitting in Barnes and Noble having a late breakfast and using their wifi. Believe me, it was worth the half hour drive!

Guess what today is? It's my friend Denise's birthday, and I've decided to celebrate by giving away some more shuttles!

Yes, dear friends, I am giving away three shuttles again! Never fear, I do have shuttles set aside for Denise and me. Again, I used 3D stickers and glitter nail polish. I haven't tried tatting with these yet, so I'm not sure how good they'll be for actual use, but they sure are cute to look at!

I think I'll wait until the weekend to draw the winners. We have a lot planned for this weekend, so I'm not sure if I'll have Internet access before Monday. So, there's no sense in drawing early!

The little pink bookworm is for Denise. When I feel I've mastered the cloth stitch, I'll try to make this little worm the way it's supposed to be made!

Hmmm... I wonder if they have any bobbin lace books here?

  1. Oh, I have to enter this drawing cuz the little turtles are just so darn cute! I also love the worm, but I am not (no, really, I'm not) going to learn bobbin lace. Dena knows how and I'm going to visit her in a couple of weeks but I'm not, under any circumstances, going to add another addiction, er hobby, to my already overloaded schedule.

So sorry about your internet . . . at least you get to spend time with friends and family.

  5. We miss you!!!

Please include me for a turtle too. I think it would be most appropriate since I've been so slow lately! I even took a nap today.

  6. So sorry to hear of your Internet woes. Thank goodness for wifi in such handy places.

Your shuttle bling is rocketing toward interstellar awesomeness. Who wouldn't want one? (Please don't include my name though as I adore the one I have from a previous giveaway -- must not hog all the glittery goodness.)

  10. These are adorable, Diane! Please, please put my name in the hat!

Hope your Internet comes back soon--we have this problem a lot in Key West, where the Internet (and the power) often takes a vacation, especially this time of year...

    Thanks Diane!

  11. Happy Birthday to Denise! She shares the big day with my oldest son who turned 40 today. I hear he got flocked with flamingos in the yard. (joke between him & my sis)

I have enough of your lovely shuttles so don't put me in! Well...not enough...but I want others to get in on the fun.
