I like it!

When I received this lovely hanky from Anika, I knew exactly which thread and edging I wanted to use! I had tatted a sample for the hanky from Michelle, and I liked it, but not for that hanky.

The pattern is "Cottage Border" from A Pattern Book of Tatting by Mary Konior. The thread is Fincrochet No. 30. I hope I have enough!

  2. Oh, I really love that edging! I think that's one I've been looking at too. The pink is perfect also - can't wait to see it finished.

  4. That's really pretty Diane - love it! I think those pale pink flowers of the border go perfectly with the flowers on the hanky.

  5. Love it! (Iin spite of my disregard for pink.) It really showcases those cheerful posies on the handkerchief.

  6. Oh that is such a pretty hankie! It reminds me of one I had when I was a child. I wonder if those hankies are still hidden in my closet . . . (running off to look now).

  11. Hi! I found your blog through Suztats, and I am delighted to go back through your posts and get to know you. FYI, I have a friend who wrote a book Hankie Couture (I see you recently played with hankies, LOL) and she has agreed to have a giveaway on my blog in a week or two. I love lace, too and am a crazy quilter. And now I am off to read your blog. Hugs, Cathy K
