Not traditional snowflake colors, I know, but I love this little beauty from Jon's new book, Elegant Tatting Gems.
Did you read Jon's big news? She's had so many entries to her post about her new book, that she's decided to give away two copies! Be sure you post a comment here for your chance to win a copy.
Please note: this was a test tat, and Jon may have changed the design a little before publishing the final version.
Sometimes we have to go out side the box and I like the colors and pattern. Linda in NM
ReplyDeleteWhat interesting color choices, I wouldn't have picked them but they look great together! (Just shows I need to branch out more.)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tatting!
Lovely pattern. Unusual color choices for a snowflake, but they do look good! I just knew there'd be some blue. ;-)
ReplyDeleteThese colors look fine to me! It's fun to try different combinations. Thanks for letting us know about Jon's giveaway!
ReplyDeleteMay not be snowflake colors, but it sure is pretty! :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tatting Diane. And TWO books in her giveaway? Awesome!
ReplyDeleteThat's a gorgeous teaser, Diane. Tatted snowflakes don't have to be white. I'm beginning to see lots of colours in them and it's great! More eye candy...
ReplyDeleteWhen I get a chance I'm going to have to read all your post, maybe I'll get inspired! Barbara Jividen
ReplyDeleteLove the blue!!! From a fellow blue lover :)
ReplyDeleteYour tatting is so beautiful. I love these two colors together. I am heading over to Jon's blog now. Happy Sunshine Tatting...
ReplyDeleteThose colours are great! My favourite choice for the kids' mittens!
ReplyDeleteNeat snowflake! Can't wait for the book.

It's a very pretty pattern and the color does a great job highlighting elements in the design. Lovely tatting, Diane!
