I'm lovin' it!

I'll take any little bit of tatting time I can get, especially when the results are as pretty as this!

As expected, school was a lot of fun today! Kids gave me hugs and told me how much they missed school. Remember, I work in an elementary school. Daughter Carol said the high school kids were not nearly as excited to be back!

  1. Gorgeous thread!

Maybe the HS are too"cool" to show their enthusiasm, what do you think?

  3. The thread and the pattern is beautiful. I am planning to make a friendship bag and I better start making the edging for it. I think I will let the HDTs choose the fabric.

  9. I see that you changed the count on the chain from one motif to another. This is way nicer than the first experiment.

  10. That thread is beautiful!

I have such a hard time working a little at a time on projects - I get distracted and start other things too often. How do you do it?!

  11. Nice thread. I like the edging design. I think the colors of Marilee's threads are outstanding!
We don't got back until the 9 th . I have been working on replacement doily . 2 more rows and I am done( well ok clean and block than done). Never do doily in natural or white. Color hides the dirt! lol

  14. Wow.. I just came back to this window from last night and realized that I never commented on how pretty that edging is! I figured I'd keep quiet and just see if you updated today and then something caught my eye about that edging... I got a new book of patterns today (Aunt Ellen's Treasure) and I actually marked that edging as a 'to do'! Now I know what it looks like in color! Gorgeous!!!

I see some time ago in your blog that plastic device for holding thread , please, could you name it again for me? as I observe it is very efficient.
    Thank you.
