Warming up

Yes, it is warming up. We are now up to 7 degrees Fahrenheit, truly tropical compared to yesterday! It looks like we'll be back at school tomorrow. This is the longest Christmas break I've ever had, and I've enjoyed every moment of it!

Today I finished putting the tatting pouches together for my third graders. I'm really looking forward to passing them out tomorrow!

I also finished Snowflake 3 from Snowflake Roses by Denise Munoz. This was a fun tat, and I really like the way it turned out!

  1. We get tomorrow off school because some schools water pipes froze. Tennessee folks, unless in the mountains don't always cover exposed pipes well, we only got an inch of snow but it's so cold it's still on the ground!
I was hoping you would make another Snow flake:) looks good!

  4. As I write this, you are probably back in school, and I hope things are improving with the weather.
Be careful with the ice out there! We're having a balmy 22 today! But thankfully had just an inch or two of snow.

I still am amazed at all the things you accomplish. Those bags and the decorated shuttles were quite a project, and are very special! I'm sure they will spark some interest in tatting!
All of your snowflakes are so attractive.
