I've long admired Renulek's beautiful doilies, so I decided to join in and tat Letnia.
I know I didn't get very far, but we all have to start somewhere! I'm using size 20 Lizbeth, #185, Arctic Waters.
I'm also working on another snowflake designed by Robin of Tatting by the Bay. This one is Late Winter Snowflake, again in Victorian Red. I hope Mom likes all of these red goodies I'm tatting for her!

I love watching everyone's progress on the Renulek doilies. It's too labor intensive for me at the moment, but I will be sure to check back to see how yours is coming along!
ReplyDeleteIf you have trouble with Late Winter Snowflake (as others have), try loosening the tension on the chains around the trefoils so they have less curvature and more slack. It's a design oversight and I still need to revise the pdf to include this information.
You’ll like the pattern! It is fun. : ))
ReplyDeleteOh good, welcome to the Renulek club! Her doilies are wonderful to tat.
ReplyDeleteThat's a nice start in a pretty thread. Tats for Mom sounds good!
ReplyDeleteAt least you have some starts!! :)
ReplyDeleteI am trying to get things done and do a little here and there, but life has a way of slowing a tatter down!
Have fun, Diane!
