I only managed to tat one more motif today. Despite the fact that we had three snow/cold days this past week, I had a lot to catch up on, and my tatting had to wait. Still, I'm happy with what I did manage to tat. It will be interesting to see how much I'm able to accomplish in the coming week. I am expecting a full week of school!
Fabulous design you are tatting. I do pray you stay warm and safe.
ReplyDeleteLookin good Diane and I am slow going with tatting on weekends, plus I am trying to finish up some last year items too. Where I live we get the bitter cold but most always warms up to 40 and them rains. Then cold never seems to bring snow just clear and cold!
ReplyDeleteI am astonished at how quickly you are progressing on this amazing doily, even with cutting back the mistake! Plus other things you continue to work on, including blinging all those shuttles!
ReplyDeleteI'm also fascinated with your weaving and have been researching the Saori loom. I'm wondering if you're going to 'hand warp' the loom this time. That seems so complicated! It seems like a very ingenious loom, which allows one to be very creative! I love the look of the weaving on all your bags and scarves.
For me, I've finally gotten the thread. I'm using DMC Mercer size 20 in Beige.
ReplyDeleteThe doily is from Rita Weiss book but I doubt there will be much to show. In two days, I'm still working on the second round. This doily is only to take break between my sewing orders.
