Bit by bit

I'm slowly getting my computer back to where it was. I'm still not sure what I did to it, but I do know that I didn't do anything absolutely horrible. It just doesn't look the same as it did. I'll just keep plugging away, and I'm pretty sure that in no time at all I will forget what the settings used to be and be happy with how they are.

Of course all of the time I spent working on the computer meant less time for tatting. Still, I managed to complete three more pattern repeats, and that makes me very happy!

    1. I'm always amazed at what I can accomplish with tatting a little bit here and a little bit there. I honestly didn't realize that I had completed three motifs until I went to write my post last night!

  2. I'm glad the computer is on the mend. You must be happy to get back to more enjoyable past-times than fixing it. :)

    1. While I do enjoy using the computer, fixing my mistakes just seems like a chore... kind of like retro-tatting! Still, tatting is much more enjoyable than technology!

  6. Loving it, especially the size! I'm finally ordering thread this weekend and have decided on Antique Blue Medium. How many balls of size 20 do you estimate will be needed to complete the piece?

    1. I'm not really sure, Stephanie. I ordered a cone of size 20 thread, because I didn't want to take a chance on running out. Since blue is my favorite color, I'd probably order 5... I know I'd find a use for it! ;-)

  7. I once pressed a combination of keys which I don't know which ones - that disabled the keyboard. I could only key in the command buttons and that's it.

So I had to enlist help from my brother and he sent me a set of instructions via Whatsapps.
