I didn't make much progress on my Spinning Wheel glass mat yesterday, but I plan on finishing it today. One of the first graders asked me what I was making and she stood and watched me tat one ring and chain. She told me she could watch me tat all day. Now that's inspiration!
For some reason, I can't get this photo to rotate. It looks fine in Photo, but when I import to to Blogger, it reverts to the portrait position. Sometimes technology baffles me!
Yesterday's focus was buttons in pairs for Rita.
I love the selection of buttons she sent for me to use!
They're larger than the ones I have, and they're thicker. I'm really interested to see what she does with them!
Great glass mat!!! :)
ReplyDeleteStill wonderful button flowers!!! :)
Whichever way, those button pairs look great. I hope we'll see what becomes of them.
ReplyDeleteI like the buttons and I don't know if you are using shinyer thread or not but the thread on the buttons looks really nice.
ReplyDeleteAnd your spinning wheels are fun to see the pictures so I think it would be fun to watch, cause I know you got that pattern down pat :)
I've never seen a shuttle tatter tat in person, so I bet it would be fascinating. One day I shall have to try the spinning wheel. Ah, more pretty buttons...!
