Round 9 competed!

I was too tired to tat much last night, but I woke up bright and refreshed this morning and managed to complete round 9 of the Jan Stawasz Masterpiece.

Although this round was very simple, it seemed to take forever to complete. Maybe that's because it was too simple!

My living room throw rug has circle patterns, which is quite convenient for showing off a large doily. This beauty now measures 19". On to the next round!

  1. Well done, looks fabulous!! A masterpiece already. Yes, it's funny how complicated tasks sometimes go more smoothly than easy ones.

  4. It is sure looking lovely, Diane. It is quite the marathon, isn't it? When you finish that last stitch, if you are like me, you might feel as if you now are a member of a unique tattling club- The Monster Doily Tatters! It really is a huge accomplishment. : ))

  7. I, myself,f would consider this finished! I know it gets more and more gorgeous, though. Too bad you can't do the outer rounds separately and attach them later but I know that's impossible here. Looks like a really tricky round of motifs coming up, with accurate spacing involved.. Since summer vacation is near, you may have timed it right!

  8. It's just getting prettier and prettier :) I've tried to comment on how beautiful this is a couple of times, but I find my iPad makes it more difficult than it has to be!
