The circles on my living room rug seem to be the perfect backdrop to my Jan Stawasz Masterpiece. I have only two pattern repeats to go to finish this round!
Two more beautiful shuttles arrived in the mail today. These two are from Qtat in Hungary. I love collecting shuttles from around the world. If I can't go out and see the world, I can have the world come to me!
Your masterpiece is looking fabulous! I love the shuttles - and I like the attitude if not able to see the world, you just bring it to you :)
ReplyDeleteYou are doing fabulous on catching back up on that doily!!! :)
ReplyDeleteLooks great and so exciting, to think your half rounds attached to your round are almost done I just started mine and measured several times :)
ReplyDeleteThis looks spectacular! I know the doily looks fantastic when finished, but if I were making it, I would admire it for a while after this round so I could catch my breath before continuing on - sort of like climbing Mt. Everest!
ReplyDeleteAnd your 'international' shuttle collection continues to grow! You are introducing us to shuttle artisans from around the world that we may not find on our own!
Oh yes, good way to show your progress off. Pretty shuttles from yet another country. Do you have a map to show where they all come from?
ReplyDeleteGreat progress on the big one. I hope all your troubles are behind you now. It will be a spectacular piece. Shuttles from around the world lucky you.
ReplyDeleteI think you should have a map on the wall with pins showing where you got your shuttles from.
