Bugsy Malone was a great success! The dinner theater on Sunday had 146 diners... not bad for a middle school play!
Madam Director, aka daughter Carol, was splurged with silly string at the end of the play. I don't think she minded being the victim of these little hoodlums!
Despite my hectic schedule this past week, I did manage to get some tatting done. I'm not as far as I had hoped, but all things considered, I think I've done pretty well. I'm almost finished tatting around three motifs. Maybe my goal for this round should be Thanksgiving!
I don't know a lot about silly string, but I hope it washes out well!! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat continuing progress on your doily!!! :)
Glad it all went well and also great to see progress has been made on the doily too.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant news that all went well, looking good and at least you managed some tatting, well done I don't know how you fitted it all in.

ReplyDeleteCongrats to Carol and the cast. And their support team of course.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful that the play went well! Using silly string - what a great idea! I'm sure it cleans up better than whipped cream :-) I would have loved to watch this production. Congratulations to cast and crew and all the support team, too! The great thing about tatting is it waits patiently for you to pick it up again even if we moan about not getting to it. The doily is looking mighty good. :-D
ReplyDeleteYour daughter is so pretty and she looks very JOYful. Her plays are always great successes...she knows who to recruit and how to enhance the kids performing. Your tatting is beyond amazing and Thanksgiving will have all the more to be Thankful for. Blessings Dear...
ReplyDeleteFantastic photo of Carol! It must be such a joy to you to have such a talented, amazing daughter; and you both were together for the production! Interesting dinner theater concept! Surely she is very popular with the students and parents! She is a treasure for the school - as you are, of course! Can't believe you also found time to tat!
