I just finished tatting around another motif section, leaving only four to go! I'm going to miss this round when I'm done. I really like the way the pattern flows.
Some new shuttles arrived from The Shuttle Brothers yesterday. My friend Denise met Randy at a lace event at Zig Zag Corners a couple of weeks ago, and she showed him the large bobbins I had. Randy said he was sure he could make shuttles for me, and all but the one in the center were made just for me! The center shuttle is elk antler. Denise raved about Randy's antler shuttles, so I had to have one, of course!
You are doing wonderful on that doily!!! :)
ReplyDeleteThe doily is terrific! And those shuttles. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteNice looking shuttles and glad that round went well I need the encouragement!
ReplyDeleteYou'll be finished with the doily soon as I think the last two rounds are pretty fast.
ReplyDeleteGlad this round has gone faster and better,
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shuttles. How many shuttles do you have?
Margaret
I really don't know, Margaret. I'm sure I have over 500. When I retire in June, I'll get them all sorted and counted. I may be shocked! ;-)
DeleteOnly four? The ou can do it, you can do it!
ReplyDeleteWow, those are special shuttles! You're making great progress, hooray.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful shuttles! I hope to be able to visit again someday and admire your entire collection!
Wonderful progress on the doily! And your shuttle collection keeps growing! Should we call the Guinness people yet?
ReplyDeleteYou have several that are quite unique, and these are very special.
