I only have five Spinning Wheel glass mats to show for the month of April. At least I've been keeping up with my goal of tatting one Spinning Wheel per week!
Today I spent most of the day working on mermaid scale necklaces for the drama club fund raiser this summer. My goal is to sell 100 necklaces at $10 each.
75 of them will have 16" chains, which I think is a good size for little girls. 25 will have 20" chains, just in case there are any adults who want one!
I'd never heard of mermaid scale jewelry ... did a bit of Googling. Learn something new everyday :-) Good luck with the fund raiser.
ReplyDeleteYour mats are looking very cheerful in all those colourways !
The mermaid necklaces are pretty and sounds like at great idea for a fundraiser.

Wow! You have accomplished quite a lot. The necklaces should be quite a hit.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the fund raising. I'm off to google it too. Good for you for keeping up with your spinningwheel target, they look wonderful together, as though they really are spinning.
ReplyDeleteMakes my head spin! All those spinning wheels in one month!
ReplyDeleteNot many of us would consider that 'not much tatting', especially with all those mermaid scales right below! Wow!
ReplyDeleteLovely pendants. I was wondering, if you took all your spinning mats and sewed them together into one giant mat, how large would it be at this point? LOL..They look great!
ReplyDeleteDo you still have any of these pendants? email me atkinsongra @ aol dot com if you do. I would be interested in buy one or two.
