Fumble fingers

I had fumble fingers last night. I was trying to finish Stephanie's beaded bridal bag, and it took me forever to string the beads for the drawstrings! I gave up and went to bed at 9, but I was back at it early this morning.

Luckily, my fingers worked this morning! I was able to finish the bag and give it to Stephanie. She was very pleased with it, and that makes me happy!

I've managed to reach the 2/3 mark on my Spinning Wheel glass mat. With a little more tatting tonight and some tatting time tomorrow, I should be able to finish.

    1. Thank you, Marilee! I'm pretty good at following directions, but I'm clueless when it comes to designing. I'm glad you have so many beautiful patterns!

(Lots of beads!) It will be a treasured heirloom. Beautiful shades of pink on the spinning wheel mat.

  6. You know I love tatting, but there are times when things need to be crocheted or I mean look better crocheted and this bag is one of them I want to make one but not sure if may hand would hold up :( I struggle with knitting like that too. Your mat is going well to and looking good!

    1. I totally agree with you! My wrist doesn't hold up for very long when I'm crocheting or knitting, only 15-20 minutes at a time. That's why it takes me so long to make one of these bags. I love the pattern, so I'll keep crocheting a little bit at a time.
