It does sound a bit silly to say I've been inspired by gray, but it's the truth!
This beautiful thread was in the bag that Jane Eborall won at Palmetto Tat Days. The photograph does it no justice. The thread is so shimmery and soft to the touch, and the color was absolutely gorgeous1
I didn't have any Mimosa thread in my stash, but I did have some size 80 Lizbeth #607, Charcoal Med. I do like the way it's turning out!

Beautiful color!
ReplyDeleteI have a sneaking suspicion you have memorized that wonderful pattern.
Prettier than 'gray' sounds!
ReplyDeleteIt does look nice!
ReplyDeleteI love the colour grey and it goes so well with other colours too. This has a nice sheen on it.
ReplyDeleteI love it too and your right the pictures don't capture the rich color :)
ReplyDeleteGray has a lot of class and it goes with many other colors. Your latest glass mat is looking good!
ReplyDeleteI have loved the color gray/grey since I was very young. This thread is gorgeous. I love your newest Spinning Wheel. Grey with baby Blue or soft Pink makes me swoon!
ReplyDeleteGrey is a great color, I do love how it goes with so many other colors. Love your mat.
ReplyDeleteI can see the shimmery look of the mimosa thread, it almost looks like silver.
ReplyDeleteYour glass mat looks great already!! :)
