Sue Anna is driving, Marilee is riding shotgun, and I'm in the back seat tatting. We're on our way to Palmetto Tat Days in Toccoa, GA!
A little over an hour ago, I realized I made a mistake and needed to open a ring... in size 80... in the car. 😕
It took over an hour, but I did it!
Have fun you gals :-)))) bring back lots of goodies & stories & may be spare a nano-moment or two for us at home ;-p
ReplyDeleteI take my hat off to you for that feat! Enjoy the trip, all of you.
ReplyDeleteYou're taking your spinning wheel for a spin, Yay !
ReplyDelete(Okay all thru dinner & dishes I've been excited to add to my comment - here, & on Jane's. .. off to Jane's now ;-P
Great job!!! :) I know that was a chore!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a great time (to all of you)!!! And a very safe trip there and back!!! :)
Safe travels to all of you, patience wins in size 80 thread. I can't wait to hear all about your adventures.
ReplyDeleteHooray for you! I hope you all have a wonderful time at Tat Days.
ReplyDeleteGosh, you girls have fun! I can't hardly work with size 80 sitting still in my chair under a lamp? Ha!
ReplyDeleteSo happy for all of you! How neat that you're travelling together! I'm guessing it's at least a 10-hour journey! Kudos to Sue for driving!
ReplyDeleteYou deserve a prize for opening a ring in size 80 - in the car!!! Love Muskaan's clever comment that you're 'taking your spinning wheel for a spin'!
Hope you report each day - even if just a quick note.
It happens to be Star Trek's 50th anniversary today, so I'm enjoying the marathon on BBC-America channel! I saw ST on its first run in '66! Was 22 then! Yikes! So it's kind of appropriate that the Palmetto theme is about tatting going 'out of this world'!! I just recalled that Battatter designed an excellent representation of the Enterprise!
Have a GREAT TIME!
Safe journey and have a fabulous time!!
ReplyDeleteSafe Travels and a wonderful time at your Tatting Retreat. In the moving car I cannot imagine "untatting". I have enough trouble just sitting in my chair. Happy Tatting Journey...
ReplyDeleteHave a great time, apart from not being able to see no 80 thread to unpick it would be a nightmare and do it in the car all I can say well done.
ReplyDeleteI know the feeling and after the JS doily I feel like a pro at undoing rings! Size 80 we are proud of you :)
ReplyDeleteUfff!! Por suerte lo lograste, porque tan pequeño siempre cuesta mucho.Besos.
ReplyDelete.
Post your shuttle through a ring, and it will NEVER take you an hour again!
