Feeling relaxed

I don't know why, but I feel extra relaxed today. It must be the beautiful weather!

The bottom of my Mochila bag is finished. Now I'm ready to move up the sides. I think I need to take a break from it now. Crocheting is really hard on my hands.

I decided it was time to add beads to the Ice Drops I'm tatting for Denise's library Christmas tree. Here, I've replaced the picot with one bead.

This one has two beads in place of the picot. I do like the stacked look!

With these two, I now have five completed.

My newest shuttle from Rita Richmond of Shuttle by Design has arrived!

The back is almost as pretty as the front!

  3. That's a milestone, good place to take a break. It is hard on the hands, especially getting the tension right.

  4. I crochet A LOT, but seldom tapestry crochet because it's hard on my hands too. Pity, because I LOVE the resulting items :) I think the bottom of your bag looks really great. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the bag :)
    Pretty Ice Drops too!

  6. Lovely crochet. Your newest shuttle looks like a fancy surfboard...I am a Southern California girl at heart after all. I would never surf or go near the water though!!!
