A walk in the park

I woke up bright and early this morning, so I took the opportunity to warp my new mini loom. It's so cute, and it fits on my lap!

It was such a beautiful morning, I called daughter Carol and asked her if she wanted to walk around Perry Farm with me. I realized that I haven't done much walking in the past week and a half, and I really needed the exercise. Perry Farm is about five minutes from Carol's house, so she was willing to go along. We walked for an hour, which is a lot for me. Afterwards, we had salad and iced tea for lunch, and then I headed home.

I managed to tat an Ice Drop, but then I was done for the day. I think I'll plan a shorter walk for tomorrow!

  2. That lovely farm looks like it has everything, including caves! Kind of unusual. I'm intrigued how the loom fits in your lap.

    1. The Perry Farm is wonderful, and they have many activities throughout the year. My grandchildren love their Exploration Station.

    1. If I didn't live 40 minutes away, I would walk there every day. It's so peaceful! I do like my mini loom!

  4. Walking is so much more enjoyable when the surroundings are interesting. Salad and Iced Tea after your walk sounds just right. Fun new loom...<3

  5. I think you did a good job salvaging your day. Sometimes I think I should just shut the machines off- but then we would never have met...
