I finished my chores early today, so I had plenty of time to play!
I finished "Camilla" from Tatted Bookmarks ~ cross-shaped by Lene Bjorn, and I still have plenty of size 20 Lizbeth Green Coral Sea.
Next on my list was to finish Alenalea's mystery doily. I'm really glad I chose to tat it in blue and white, one of my favorite color combinations.
I had plenty of blue and white thread left on my shuttles to tat my latest Ice Drop. Sometimes two color tatting is really effective!

ReplyDeleteHere I have to very careful with using white in combo coz the white (especially size 20) is usually thicker & stiffer than the coloured :-(

Thanks for regularly sharing pictures of your shuttles and telling us the names of the designers; thanks to you I discovered shops that were totally unknown to me. Until now I only ever had plastic shuttles, but today I received the most exquisite wooden shuttles I could dream of... from Russia :)
Your tatting is always gorgeous. Blue and White is classic and this doily is stunning. Your newly woven band is also beautiful. Blissful Summer...<3
