Yes, I now have nine Mardi Gras Doodle Ice Drops for Mom! I'll try to get them in the mail tomorrow.
We dealt with high winds today, and although I never felt the wind in the house, I feel very tired from listening to it all day. I made progress on my "Wortham" scarf from Sequence Knitting by Cecelia Campochiaro. There's something very comforting about yarn on a blustery day!
Ooh, I like the way the colour is changing. Here we’ve had 6 months of the wind blowing, where usually they speak of August winds. It becomes wearing. Your mum will be delighted with her Mardi Gras ice drops!
ReplyDeleteI do, too! The orange blending in takes away from the sharpness of the yellow. Luckily, the wind doesn't keep me from sleeping!
DeleteOh I like the transitioning of colors. And we got that wind here too I don't usually hear them my wind chimes but today all day we did. 🍃🌻🍃
ReplyDeleteDave tied up our wind chimes. I guess it got to be too much for him!
DeleteCan't wait to see that scarf finished!!! I really think the orange adds "pop" to it!!! :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful wool mix, love the colours of the scarf, can’t wait to see more.
