I only had time to tat one Ice Drop today. I do love this color, size 20 Lizbeth #686 Seagreen Lt. I'm not fond of the seven points, but that's how this one worked out!
At Mom's suggestion, I've started an inventory of my books. For now, I'm sorting them and storing them in boxes. Once I've finished, I'll be ready to set up my craft space in a different part of the house. I'm having fun going through everything, and so far I've only found one duplicate book!
Lovely colour! Oh, sorting books always leads me astray, I end up reading them instead of putting them into boxes.
ReplyDeleteI've been very good and very focused. I only leafed through one book that I don't remember purchasing!
DeleteI've had an inventory of books for many, many years, Diane. My biggest problem is updating it when I get new ones so I've really stopped buying new books!!! I also have one for thread which I made when I was going on a trip to Tat Days. It was very useful to be able to look up what I'd got when I was in the vending room. Problem is - I've not updated that for years either!!!
ReplyDeleteI had an inventory of books for many years, Jane. That was probably two laptops ago. It was so out of date that it was easier to trash it and start over. I also had an inventory of shuttles, back when I had around 50. I had a program that I loved. I can't remember the name of it now. I could include pictures of everything. It was the only database program I ever enjoyed using. Computer systems were updated, the program was not, and all my hours of work were undone. Threads are on my list also!
DeleteI’ve been lucky with my lists. They’ve been migrated from Windows to IOS and survived! My problem is keeping them updated!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm really getting into this list thing again!
DeleteBeautiful tatting and I love the way you've managed (not intentionally I know) to colour co-ordinate the shuttle with the tatting.
ReplyDeleteI'm beginning to think that I am trying to color coordinate and I just don't realize it!
DeleteI kept an inventory when we were moving frequently. It helped me sleep at night knowing I was prepared should the unthinkable happen. Now that we've been in the same place for so long, I haven't disciplined myself to keep it up. It's too much fun creating and enjoying and playing and tatting!
ReplyDeleteGood luck moving your craft space.
I can get lost in just about any task, whether it's creative or not. I just prefer the creative side!
DeleteI love Sea Green! One of my favorite colors, and it looks great in that Ice Drop!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Marilee! It is a beautiful color!
DeleteSuch a pretty Ice Drop!! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sue! I hope you and Richard are staying well!
DeleteThat's another pretty one🦋
