Yarn shopping

There wasn't much time for crafting today, but I did manage to finish another button ornament. I now have 7. I hope to have 24 finished by Christmas.

Our three youngest grandchildren called before school this morning to let me know that it was snowing in Minnesota. I'm so jealous! I love snow!

They then asked if I would make stuffies (stuffed toys) for them. Janko asked for a snowman, and Sophia and Kara asked for snowflakes. I quickly found patterns that they liked on Etsy. However, I did not have appropriate colors.

So, after school Mom and I headed to Hobby Lobby to buy some yarn. I now have the supplies for their new toys. All I need is some more time!

  1. I hope you get all your ornaments done in time! :)
Requests from grandchildren are the most delightful, and hardest to not fulfill!! ;)

    1. I'm not going to stress out about the ornaments. I have other gifts ready, so they're not a top priority. I'm itching to start the stuffs!

  2. I love being asked by my grandchildren to make things. Good reason to go yarn shopping too.

  3. Cute patterns. You can have all the snow in my yard, about 6" with more on the way today and Saturday. Shoveling snow is interferring with my tatting.

    1. I love snow! I am a bit envious. The long range forecast seems to indicate another brown Christmas for us. Shoveling snow does interfere with tatting time, but I probably need the exercise!
