I finally finished the first of seven dishcloths for daughter Alison. This has been my carry-along project so that I can work my way through all of the dishcloth cotton I've discovered while cleaning and organizing. Yes, there's a lot of it!
I have about 20 minutes between the two high school lunches, so I spend that time knitting. At the pace I'm going, I will be knitting dishcloths for a long, long time!
What colors are you doing these in? I've been knitting these like a crazy person!
ReplyDeleteThey're all either Peaches & Creme or Sugar & Creme balls that I bought years ago. I've also found some cones in those two yarns as well as Knit Picks. I have a lot of dishcloth cotton!
DeleteYou two are tempting me to make more dishcloths but I have too many other projects on the go so won’t allow myself to diversify - yet!!
ReplyDeleteSince they're my carry-along project, I'm not getting through them very quickly. Now that I've been making new ones, I realize how dingy mine are looking. So, after I finish Alison's set, I will probably start on new ones for my kitchen. I have been very good about limiting my time to the twenty minutes between lunch groups!
DeleteGood way to reduce your stash.
ReplyDeleteAt this rate, it will take me years!
DeleteWell, 20 minutes a day will still be good steady progress. Have fun with those!
ReplyDeleteGreat! :)
