Today was another yarn filled day, but I didn't achieve as much as I would have liked. I was needed for subbing, and that really cut into my day.
I managed to finish one dishcloth while subbing today. When I got home from school, I cranked out three twisted headbands, but I only had time to finish one. Maybe I'll have a little more time tomorrow.
Perhaps I shouldn't be so hard on myself. I did go through a lot of yarn today!
Well more subbing means more dollars which means more money for yarn - or thread!!!!
ReplyDeleteTrue, but then how will I ever use up my stash? ;-)
DeleteGreat productivity since you still had to work!!! :)
ReplyDeleteEverything looks great!! :)
Phew, you achieved a lot, especially with subbing in the mix.
ReplyDeleteIs your Sentro knitting machine large enough to make leg warmers? Just curious. What is the maximum width tube you can crank? (Golly! I love gadgets with hand cranks...I am so intrigued with the versatility of your new toy.)
ReplyDeleteI believe it is, but I'm have to look up leg warmers on a circular knitting machine. There's no ribbing, so I'm guessing you'd have to do that part by hand. I haven't measured, but I did see a video with comparison measurements of all the different sized circular knitting machines. I chose this one so that I could make the twisted headbands. I also purchased the Sentro 48 for hats. It arrived Friday. I'll try and work with it over the weekend.
DeleteDon't be too hard on yourself. You are a very productive crafter. Btw, your headbands are all very cute!
