I finished Joanne's wedding hanky this afternoon! I'm very pleased with the way it turned out. Now I have to get back to the kumihimo braid for her bag. Time's a-wastin'!
I think you should keep this photo away from Sally and 'Im in the Garage... that block of wood looks hugely tempting and the world does need many more Pop-A Bobbins, to be sure!
Your list of things to do is making my head spin! Thanks so much for taking the time to show us the beautiful hanky! A very elegant edging indeed!
I was amused to read about your reason for going on a buying spree! I thought I was the only one who did that kind of thing! Good for you - and wise purchases!
Isn't there a kind of special feeling when you've made something like this that you know will become an heirloom and stay in the family? Lovely edging!
It's SO BEAUTIFUL!!!

Good gracious! Between you and Tatskool (who also posted a photo of a wedding hanky) I am positively swooning.
ReplyDeleteYour lacework is truly rare and stunningly beautiful. The bride will love and cherish it forever.
Lovely, absolutely lovely. Lucky bride!
