Shrug finished!

...and it only took me a week! My wedding ensemble is now complete. The shrug still needs to be blocked, but I'll take care of that tomorrow.

Hmm... I look a little pale next to that purple, but I hate being out in the sun, so I guess I'll remain pale!

If you're interested in the shrug pattern, I found it here. I used a cotton/wool fingering weight that I purchased years ago... I knew my stash would come in handy!

Daughter Joanne's wedding is two weeks from tomorrow. I'd better get back to that kumihimo braid for her wedding bag!

  1. Lovely shrug. It's a great color match for the dress. You do know of self tanning lotions, they aren't as disastrous as some people say they are. The lightest shade seems to normally do quite nicely on myself in the middle of winter.

  8. I am getting itchy fingers to get my knitting needles out. We have a wedding for my hubbys' niece this September near Ottawa and I might need a shrug for myself. Don't you agree!?!?
