Chuggin' along

I'm almost halfway around the sixth motif! I feel rather decadent posting a picture of lace that just seems to have been discarded, but I kind of like the look of a pile of lace.

I spent a little time on my Lyden scarf last night. I really like this pattern from Sequence Knitting, and I like the way the shades of color flow in this skein of Preciosa Tonal from Knit Picks. It just seems to fit the pattern. I wonder if it will continue through the whole scarf? Time will tell!

  1. Love your pile of lace, it is fun to see. I wonder if anyone making this masterpiece has counted how many balls of thread the have used? I have forgotten to be honest and with the mistakes we all have made it would be harder to know too.
I don't think I have seen this sequence of knitting before and it is a beauty too.

  2. Steady progress gets the job done! (I should use that philosophy with my housework!) I like seeing piles of lace, too!

I'm quite impressed with these knitting patterns and the yarns you find. You must have a well-stocked yarn store nearby! This scarf is looking great! I've lost track of how many you've made recently!

  4. Chug, chug, chug. As The Little Engine That Could used to say - I think I can, I think I can. BUT I know you can so keep chugging along. I agree it's a lovely tat.

  6. I love your "pile of lace"!!! :)
That scarf is awesome looking!!! I love the uniqueness of the lengths of yarn flowing through(if you understand what I am saying). :)
