Today I finished tatting my Basic Ice Drop pattern with every color bead in my little bead box!

Turquoise is quickly becoming a favorite shade of blue.

I also love this shade of green. It reminds me of a sweater my mom knit for me when I was in high school. Our school colors were green and white, and I wore that sweater to many basketball games!

I almost didn't use the black beads, but I decided that I might as well since they were in the box.

I think I'm going to do a series of Minty Fudge Ice Drops using this same bead collection. They will take a little longer to tat, but I think they'll be pretty!

One is the loneliest number

I really meant to tat more than one Ice Drop today, but I let myself get distracted by unimportant things like cleaning, shopping, and playing Candy Crush. Oh, well... maybe I'll get more done tomorrow!

I kind of surprised myself!

When I transferred today's pictures from my phone to my computer, I realized that I finished five Ice Drops today!

I guess there's not much more to say!

Another rainy day

We had early morning fog, thunder rumbling, and rain this morning. It was another gloomy day, but it was made brighter with Ice Drops!

I just can't feel gloomy when tatting these.

I've been making these for over a year now, and I would have thought I'd tire of them by now.

I haven't! I still find myself imaging the next color combination while in the middle of tatting. I'm sure I'll get tired of them some day, but for now I'll just enjoy the experience!

Not so dreary after all

Although the day was overcast, we had a great time today at Tollway Tatters!

I finished five Ice Drops today, still using beads from my assortment box. I have twelve colors to go!

I only needed one Ice Drop to finish filling the tree. I've put this treeful away, and now have a start on the next group. I truly am an Ice Drop Addict!

Having fun on the tollway

Denise and I were afraid we would have to sit in the car because of the torrential downpour, but the rain let up as we arrived. Now we are having fun tatting and chatting!

Getting ready!

Today I focused on getting ready for Christmas in the Village, which will be the second weekend in December. One of the prizes I won at Palmetto Tat Days was an assortment of beads, and I'm focused on tatting my basic Ice Drop pattern with each color bead in the box.

As you may have figured out, Friday is laundry day for me.

I didn't waste any time between laundry loads!

I also did some cleaning in the kitchen.

I even managed to make a meat pie for dinner!

It's amazing what can be accomplished with a little bit of focus.

I'm not sure if you can tell in the pictures, but I used crackled glass gems in each of these.

I think it gives them a nice frosty look!

Tomorrow is Tollway Tatters. I'm not sure if I'll work on Ice Drops or my sister-in-law's runner. Either way, I feel like I'm on a roll!
