A Tatter's Bookmark 2
Here it is... another bookmark! This one's adapted from tatted edge #2 from A Tatter's Workbook. It's in Lizbeth Spring Green, size 20. If I had made longer picots, this edging would be straight, but I didn't, and I ended up with this pretty little motif that just called to me, "Bookmark! I want to be a bookmark!" I can't imagine what I'll do with another bookmark, unless I use it to hold my pace in one of my tatting books... hmmm... what a novel idea! Pun intended! Sometimes I just crack myself up... she says, chuckling to herself, sitting all alone in her cold, dark living room, sipping her early morning coffee...
I think I'd better choose another pattern to tat quickly!
P.S. - This makes #15 for the 25 Motif Challenge!

I fear for your sanity. I'll send the 'men in white coats'!!!!
ReplyDeleteTalking to yourself in the dark - very sad!!!
You are funny!
ReplyDeleteIt turned out as a very nice bookmark. Oh, and it's perfectly okay to talk to yourself in the dark. It's even okay if you answer, provided you ask intelligent questions and get intelligent answers -- how could they be otherwise, eh?
ReplyDeleteOuch, cold and dark...should be banned...you can be forgiven for talking to yourself under those extreme conditions. Lovely tatting , love that colour.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! I love it!!!
ReplyDeleteMom, you know any bookmarks would find a happy home with any of your daughters...or grandchildren! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI love those bookmarks. That green is just wonderful! Do you ever do swaps? If not do you sell those? I would love to have one. You do very lovely work.
ReplyDeleteYou really are too funny! I like what you did with the edging. It makes a lovely bookmark! I'm sitting in the cold, dark and haven't started the coffee yet. Don't want to wake up Mr. Master! I agree with your daughter. There are always available homes for bookmarks. I try to keep several ready for unexpected gift needs.
ReplyDeleteDiane, you make me smile more often then you could ever realize. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteWhere can I get this pattern?
ReplyDeleteHi, Vicki F.! Thanks for visiting my blog! A Tatter's Workbook is available at Handy Hands and Lacis. It's a great book. I hope you're able to get a copy!
