Short Wave

Okay, it's a bad pun. This started out to be a Wave bookmark (pattern by Sandy Scales in Tatted Bookmarks edited by Barbara Foster), but I ran out of thread. I know. I know. I could have added more thread, but I found that I had joined a ring to the wrong picot, and decided to leave well enough alone. I'll add a tassel to it and use it at school. The kids will be thrilled to see some more of my lace!

If I make the next one in size 80, will it be a microwave? ...sorry!

  1. LOL - nice puns for your short work :)

The kids will love it - unlike those of us who just can't bear to be reminded of our mistakes. I really need to use my goofs - no one else will see them in my books anyway!

  2. What does one have to do to catch a Wave?

  3. You know....if you add one more curve there at the bottom between the other two, you could have an insert for a v-neck. Hopefully a colorful one or a white one ..or black.... It's very pretty.

  5. haha, I love the puns! But the thing is, no one will know you didn't intend it to be that way unless you tell them :D

  7. Very punny! I like the bookmark too! I think I'm going to be late with my September Bookmark . . . a baby I was supposed to knit for was born prematurely and I'm having to make the goods very quickly (but they are smaller than they would have been, so I guess it all evens out).

  8. I am responding well to Hashimotos treatment also, I was diagnosed just a couple years ago too :) Each thing listed on my blog under education is there for a reason, hence the reason I don't work any more and have time for tatting :) some days are better than others, but each day is it's own :D

Keep up the tatting, I always love looking at your things, you are a great inspiration to me, and thanks for visiting :) Bree
