It definitely did here! The temperature dropped. We had rain, sleet, and snow. Luckily, it was warm enough that nothing stuck. Still, I'm bundled up in my cozy winter robe tonight, enjoying the fire in our corn stove.
I decided to focus on my newest Spinning Wheel glass mat today. I'm glad I did, because I was able to finish it! This one is in size 20 Lizbeth, Vineyard Harvest #131. Have I mentioned that I love this pattern? ;-)

As a fellow librarian (public library), I cannot tell you how often I am inspired by your Spinning Wheel glass mat. By the time I get home to find the book with that pattern, I get distracted by something else. Yours are all gorgeous and one day I will make one! In the meantime, I'm busy making Martha Ess' skeletons for my medical folks!

We've had to run the air conditioner today. Warm and sunny here. Can't even *imagine* snow. The glass mat looks wonderful. Vineyard Harvest is one of my favorites.
ReplyDeleteWe have plenty of snow here. It has snowed all day and I think it's still snowing yet. I have been enjoying my homemade cocoa all day!! :)
ReplyDeleteYour glass mat looks fabulous!!! :)
Got a question....if you have several glass mats of the same size-does it look like they would join together to make a doily or mat or something?? Maybe not since I count 9 points. :)
Good question! And you are one of the few people we know who probably has enough of them on hand to lay them out. What do you think?
DeleteI really like this color! Very nice!
ReplyDeleteWonderful, sometime I would like to see them all on one table, just for fun :)
ReplyDeleteI, too, love this pattern. Some patterns work up better in variegated threads than others and this one always looks great no matter the thread.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty... I might just try one again! : ))
ReplyDeleteLovely colour thread, yes we had March like a lion, today was hail, sleet thunder and lightening, with a bit of snow did not last but with a freezing north wind it was cold

I think I would love a day with snow, it is so grey here. Love your spinning wheels, this is a nice color.
