I finished my Sinning Wheel glass mat today! It's tatted with Scandal organic cotton sewing thread.
It's a mere 2 3/4" across.
Here it is next to the size 80 Lizbeth in blue.
And here it is next to the yellow size 20 Lizbeth.
It's only about the size of a small Clover tatting shuttle. Now that's teeny tiny!
O wow ! That is tiny !!! It's lovely :-)
ReplyDeletePhew, that is extreme!Well done. Great idea to explore different threads with one pattern. I love the colour and it's wonderfully delicate.
ReplyDeleteI think you're one of very few people who know this pattern so well that it's possible to tat it in a tiny sized thread and NOT make a mistake that would have to be undone!!!! It's sooooo pretty. Interesting size comparisons too - thanks.
ReplyDeleteSuper cute love tiny threads, mailed your bird should have it soon :)

ReplyDeleteIt's wonderful!!! :)
ReplyDeleteYou're definitely the expert on this pattern! The size comparisons are very informative, but the shuttle comparison is amazing! I'm also intrigued that the pattern adapts so well to all the different thread sizes.
ReplyDeleteLovely!
ReplyDeleteAnd it's very wee...
So tiny!
ReplyDeleteThat's tiny, unfortunately I would not have been able to tat that thread at the moment, I think you did a great job, it could be used in a dolls house
ReplyDeleteAwesomeness! You are definitely the master of the spinning wheel. How many times do you think you've made it?
