Today's thread was appropriate, Liz Metallic Christmas Green.
A crackled glass gem and white ribbon were the perfect accents for this beautiful thread. Again, I used a Grizzly Mountain Arts flat shuttle.
So, why was Christmas Green appropriate?
We woke up to snow! It really was very pretty this morning. Of course we didn't have snow at Christmas. ;-)
As pretty as it was, it all melted away by afternoon.
My newest shuttle, Bumblebee, arrived today from Meng's Crafts. Isn't it cute?
Oh my, snow at this time of year? We had a couple of very late winter re-runs here in Romania, with snow and blizzards. This must be a strange year. I love your snowdrop in green :)
ReplyDeleteWe've had snow in April before. Luckily, it doesn't stay long! I am ready for spring!
DeleteI love the stripes of bumblebee so cute and will try my flat shuttles for the rest of my metallics. That green drop and your snow makes me think of trying Christmas tatting.🎄❤🎄
ReplyDeleteIsn't it funny how certain colors can get us in the mood to create for a specific holiday! I hope you like working with your flat shuttles with the metallic thread. I hesitate to make recommendations, because we all have our own likes and dislikes.
DeleteGreat Ice Drop!! :)
ReplyDeleteYou got more snow than we did and it snowed here most of the day, it was just super fine snow.
Very interesting shuttle!!!
