I'm still crocheting like crazy! I only need to finish this ball and one more ball of yarn, and I will be done. The only sad part about all of this crocheting is that I've barely made a dent in my yarn stash. How did I accumulate so much yarn?
My sister finished the collage for her granddaughter. She used three of the four flowers and all four butterflies. The white flower is hanging from her Christmas tree! :-)
The afghan is getting to large to carry back and forth to school, so I have been getting a bit more tatting done.
My Ice Drop stash is dangerously low, so I'm focusing on variations of the basic pattern so that I can build up my supply quickly. Inspired by Rita Richmond's Christmas sweepstakes, I've been using some of my favorite shuttles from her. I do love my tatting shuttles!
You have been super busy!! Everything looks wonderful!!! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sue!
DeleteYou have been crocheting, I have been knitting. I made a couple of knit hats and returned to tatting. Alas, the pull of the needles is strong and I am making another for another friend. I know what you mean about too much yarn. I had to give away a couple of trash bags full. I'm still tatting too, though.
ReplyDeleteThe knitting needles are calling, Tim! I ordered some wool and an Aran sweater pattern from Ireland. Now all I need is time to get started!
DeleteHard to imagine, you with a small supply of ice drops! Hard work but beautiful things!
ReplyDeleteI know! I probably only have about 30 to give away... that's not nearly enough!
DeleteI don’t have much of a yarn stash but I have made up for it in tatting thread!!!! Love the afghans you’ve been making.
ReplyDeleteI have quite a stash of thread, too! Luckily, that doesn't take up nearly as much space!
